Administration

Dorothy Eason became the principal of Weston Elementary School in the fall of 2022.  As an instructional leader, she comes to the Manville School District with over 28 years of experience as an educator in urban and suburban settings from elementary through high school. Her experiences have allowed her to see the social, academic, and behavioral transitions from PreK-12th grade. Prior to becoming the principal at Weston Elementary School, she spent six years in the Mahwah Township Public School District as the Assistant Principal of Lenape Meadows School. She sincerely believes that great schools are the result of great teachers. Her goal is to support the students and teachers of Weston Elementary and provide them with the tools they need for teaching and learning.

 

 

Dorothy is a resident of Franklin Township where she lives with her husband who she has been married to for 25 years. They have three adult children, a dog named Rocco and are caretakers to her mother.  She enjoys traveling, shopping and most of all playing golf.
