Dorothy Eason- Principal of Weston Elementary School
Dear Weston Elementary and Manville Community,
It is with great pleasure that I continue to serve as the principal of Weston Elementary. My name is Dorothy Eason, and I am honored to be entering my fourth year leading such a dedicated school community. Over the past three years, I have witnessed firsthand the commitment of our students, staff, and families, and I am grateful to be part of a community that places such value on learning, growth, and care for one another.
As we begin the 2025–2026 school year, my focus is clear. Together, we will:
Address chronic absenteeism so that every student has the opportunity to fully engage in their learning each day. Strengthen student achievement in ELA and math, ensuring our children not only meet but exceed expectations through high-quality instruction and meaningful support.
Advance our Positive Behavior Support in Schools (PBSIS) initiative, with special attention to Tier 2 students. This work will focus on building a strong school culture and climate while supporting students in developing the tools they need to regulate their behavior and thrive socially and emotionally.
I remain deeply committed to providing a safe, respectful, and academically challenging environment where all students can succeed. None of this work can be done alone, your partnership is vital. I encourage you to join our PTA, stay connected with your child’s learning, and know that my door is always open.
This will be a year of growth, collaboration, and achievement. I am excited about what we will accomplish together and look forward to another successful school year at Weston Elementary.
